Meet the newest addition to the herd. Our little, kitchen-sink heifer.

This amazing girl was born just a few hours before sundown on a night that we had negative degree temperatures, which is one of the reasons why we put the cattle in the woods during the winter. It provides wind protection for the crazy ones who decide they don’t want to be inside the barn.
This girl is our official, kitchen-sink baby. Her father, Beast, is a full Highland.

Her mom, Lady, is part Ayrshire, part Jersey, part Hereford, and part Devon.

So… Lady’s little lady is… deep breath… Part Ayrshire, part Jersey, part Hereford, part Devon, and half Highland.
