I keep coming back to call outs from Chicken Soup for the Soul… Mainly because they are always on the lookout for stories for their next books. They publish multiple books a year, that is what makes them such a great opportunity for writers.
And, now, they are on the lookout for stories about miracles and/or messages from Heaven or angels!
Did you have something unexplainable happen? Were you saved from a horrible moment with no explanation as to how? Were you told where an item you’ve been searching for is located? Has a prayer been answered?
My second story that was published by Chicken Soup for the Soul was in one of these books. The one I was published in was titled Angels and the Miraculous.
My life has been spotted with many happy memories and many painful ones. One of the painful moments was a miscarriage I suffered a number of years back. When I lost my mother, friends would ask ( years later) of the pain I felt and I would tell them that the only event more painful than losing my mother would be losing a child. Now, unfortunately, sadly, and painfully, I can confirm that. The night after that miscarriage, however, I was shown something that helped ease the pain of losing my child into hope.
It was a message from Heaven and that is an example of what Chicken Soup for the Soul is looking for now.
What message have you gotten from Heaven or what miracle have you experienced? Write it down!
I will add: They do stress that these are stories about experiences with real angels, not people that are wonderfully kind. Also, no eulogies.
The due date for stories about miracles and messages from Heaven and angels is January 15, 2026.
