Chicken Soup for the Soul is on the lookout for funny, nonfiction stories! Examples of what they are looking for include animals being funny, people being funny, goofs, embarrassments, etc. Did you say something at the wrong time or something that came out in the wrong way? Have you done anything that left you blushing like crazy? Is there an experience that left you or others laughing until your lungs hurt? What about doing something sweet that made people laugh? Write it down!
They are accepting funny stories through August 30, 2025.
A few guidelines:
- It must be nonfiction
- It needs to be written in the first person
- It needs to be 1,200 words or less
