Video calls and video conferences are the next best thing to talking to someone in person and they come in handy when (totally hypothetically and not something that I just got done doing) you have multiple meetings with multiple people in multiple states from both sides of the country in a three hour span.
While using the camera on a computer (if the computer has one) is convenient, it sometimes isn’t an option. Plus, most people are using their phones these days. However, one big problem I noticed when using my phone for video meetings was the constant, jarring of the video whenever I moved even half a muscle. Holding a phone while showing paperwork does not work.
Though phone holders do exist, not everyone has one and/or, sometimes, a kid decides to play with the one you do have and ends up breaking or losing it.
So, leave it to a five-year-old and a husband to solve this crazy momma’s dilemma.
Look at how simple this is!
They used the larger Lego pieces that come with the DUPLO building sets.
What you need:
- Something that will work as a base. Anything flat that’s at least 5 inches by 5 inches will work
- 2 flat rectangles. The two in the pictures are roughly 1 inch by 4 inches.
- 6 box squares. The ones in the pictures are roughly 1 inch by 1 inch by 1 inch.
To assemble:
Place the 2 flat rectangles on the base with a single attachment row spaced between them. For the back rectangle, place 3 squares atop one another on either end of the rectangle to form 2 pillars. Finally, place phone in gap between rectangles to make sure that it fits properly. If phone is too large, add an extra attachment row space to ensure a proper fit.
Done!
Seriously, how easy is that!?
