Highlights High Five is accepting!
Highlights High Five is a magazine for readers ages 2 to 6. They are currently accepting submissions from now until July 14, 2025, so this is a short window. On their submittable page, if you click on the guidelines for the High Five Magazine, they make it known that they are looking for short fiction and nonfiction stories (again for kids age ranged 2-6) as well as mention some of their preferences.
Here is a quick rundown of what they require for their submissions:
- Works need to be 160 words or less
- Nothing that has already been published
- No more than 5 submissions per person

You will need a submittable account, or make a new one. Once ready to submit, you will need to provide a short cover letter and story summary to go with the submission.
